This virtual event is designed to break the ice and build bridges across faculties, interests, and backgrounds. Whether you’re here to meet new people, exchange start-up ideas, or simply have an inspiring chat with someone outside your usual circle - this is the place to be.

We’ll kick things off together in the main Zoom room before jumping into the action: in each round, you’ll be placed in a small breakout group where you’ll have a few minutes to connect, share, and discover common ground. Then -shuffle time! - you’ll be randomly matched with a new group for the next round, and the cycle continues.

To keep conversations flowing, we’ll provide fun conversation starters for each round - ranging from light personal topics to thought-provoking questions about innovation, entrepreneurship, and your studies. But you’re free to take the discussion anywhere you want: brainstorm a start-up concept, talk about your travels, or debate the best coffee spots in Munich.

If you already have a start-up idea, be ready to pitch it so you can get in touch with fellow students who are interested in this topic as well.

The format is simple, fast, and engaging - so by the end of the event, you’ll have met a wide range of people and maybe even your perfect team for the Start-up Launchpad.
