VL Legal Tech is TUM’s hub for innovation at the intersection of law, technology, and entrepreneurship. At this event, you’ll dive into real-world legal challenges from various industries - and learn how to tackle them with creative methods like Design Thinking and Lean Start-up.
We’ll start with a short introduction to VL Legal Tech and the exciting projects happening here. Then it’s game on: you’ll be split into small, interdisciplinary teams to work on quick, engaging challenges that test your analytical skills, creative thinking, and collaboration.
To keep things dynamic, teams will reshuffle after each round- so you’ll get the chance to work with different people, expand your network, and experience a variety of perspectives. And to make it even more interesting, each team member will take on a special role: will you be the Business Expert, the Problem Solver, the Techie, or the Field Expert?
While the challenges are rooted in legal and regulatory topics, you don’t need a law background to join - quite the opposite! This event is for all students from all faculties, and we’re aiming to form interdisciplinary teams where different backgrounds spark the best ideas. If you’ve never worked with Design Thinking or Lean Start-up before, this is your perfect chance to try it out in a fun, low-pressure environment.
Once the challenges wrap up, we’ll end the afternoon with relaxed networking over drinks & snacks -the perfect moment to exchange ideas, make new friends, and connect with like-minded people who love solving problems as much as you do.
